I've had an intermittent fault for as long as I've had the bus. Occasionally after a bump in the road or tight steering the ABS light comes on.

My former sage said the one of the sensors was loose and he just forced it back in with his thumb. He's built like a brick ****house and has recently gorn back to the country from whence he came.

Nanocom reports that the rear n/s wheel is doing 6mph when the rest are doing 4.

Is this just a case of replacing the wee brass sensor sleeve?

Wee brass sleave as you call it can be tightened up to hold sensor better. Take it out and twist the tangs on it a little. Grease up and push back in until sensor touches reluctor ring. Make sure all other sensor are pushed in same way. They will set themselves when wheels turn. If it does it after a hard bump you may have a wheel bearing on it's way home.

Would spray copperlube be OK?

It's on the rear and they were replaced in the last couple of years so I hope not.

Copper should be ok, as long as it's proper stuff and is water proof. But think the spec is silicone. Grease is there to stop parts corroding in. Proper Copaslip grease is made from fine clay and is very highly heat resistant and water proof. Lots of the copper grease around is not as good.
