As usual, I'm a new member who only joined to ask a question:5bblush5:

I would appreciate a few pointers from some of the 'been there done that' people and advise is most welcome.

I've put a deposit down on an '09 Range Rover Sport, 2.7. I should get it by the end of the week but I want to take it for a thorough test drive before I part with the rest of the cash. It's got 60k on the clock. I'm buying it from a Land Rover dealer and it comes with Land Rovers 12 month warranty for peace of mind.

Is there anything I need to be looking out for though when I take it for a drive and what I should do to give it a good workout? Any known issues around this sort of mileage? It's got service history but is there anything around this mileage that I need to make sure has already been done?

Thanks in advance for any input.

quite high mileage really for the year.

check for service history etc... any major parts been changed ?

not to familiar with the sport to be honest, the complicated suspension and other bits turn me off even more not to mention i don't like them to begin with ! lol

too common around Essex ! lol

If you got the money fer one of thems. Then buy a proper one. the vogue is far superior, I know a few fellows that have had both and hated the sport. It's cramped compared to the fullfatrr. However. They do alot more offroad kit for the sport. Ie a snorkel, which isn't available for the ff

That's because the Ffrr doesn't need loads of add on kit just to take it off road ! Lol

Try both and you tell me

A sport is what it says, more sporty !

But if you want quick and good handling then get an Audi or something ??

The vogue is very comfortable IMO

I would try both and then decide for yourself

The vogue is clearly a step above, along with the price. I guess you get what you pay for in the end!
Tight handling and acceleration isn't what I'm after, just a good solid car with plenty of comfort and that means I get to work in the worst weather.

The Sport is OK, but I am not a fan - because if I had a Sport, I would always be thinking that I should have got a proper Range Rover....

Drive Both, depends on what you want....

As mentioned above - the Sport is Sporty and the ride is a bit harsh in comparison tot he Full Fat....

If you want a comfortable, graceful, stylish and plush ride get a Full Fat Vogue....if you want a sportier, harder ride...choose the sport....

Horses for courses....
