Freelander 1 A wee bit of help?

Morning folks,

I replaced the rear window actuator on my recently acquired Freelander 1, so I feel a bit more like I have transferred across from the P38 club to the freelander club.....

But, I am having difficulty obtaining the foam inner door liner from the rear door (previous maintainer had destroyed it, when they propped up the window with a bit of wood.....), can anyone tell me what the correct term is for this? Or point me to a supplier anywhere?

cheers

Wullie

Thats the very thing, many thanks...much appreciated....

Not cheap for what it is. I made a replacement for mine out of a piece of polyurethane sound proofing material. It was £30 for 5 square meters of the stuff. This will be used for soundproofing the doors, trims and other sound producing items.

I was thinking the same, over £70 plus vat? A bit steep. I will have a look at the poly stuff, I was actually considering some DPC type material that I have a roll of, it may not have the same soundproofing qualities, but it is very good at shedding water....and it is malleable enough to lend itself to this task.......

Thanks again.....
