Hi there,

as the forum section shows, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Florian, proud owner of 1982 Range Rover that is currently undergoing what started as a little rust removal and turned into a time consuming partial restoration!

So, expect some or a lot of questions ranging from obvious to stupid to hopefully interesting ones.

'tis a v8 Vm's were not introduced until late 1985 for the '86 model year, you can get an 85reg VM but very rare.

It's a classic 3.5 V8 Carb. The first try was a '86 2.4 VM and mostly rust. The roof got salvaged so. The one on the '82 had a leaking sun roof I just could get myself to bother with. Well, that and a half dozen holes where the sagging headlining was fixed through the roof...
