Firstly, hello to you all.
As you have probably guessed I am a newbie to this forum. I am hopeful that somebody can point me in the right direction with the problem that I have so, here goes
I have owned my P38 for the last 6 years and to be honest she has been relatively trouble free ( P38 - trouble free, no way!).
Anyway, Houston, I have a problem!. A really nasty wobble/ juddering in the steering wheel under breaking which is slightly less severe when breaking more gently at slower speeds. Now when this happens, it feels almost like the steering wheel is completely detatched from the rest of the vehicle . I also notice that I get a similar movement from the steering wheel when driving over everyday hazards i.e potholes etc.
I have tried a few things:-
1- New shocks all round
2- New steering damper
3- Complete set of polybushes
There has been a slight improvement but I think that is just in the general ride quality, so that's why I'm here. Anyone got any ideas what it could be or at least what I could try next.
Many thanks.
