drove about 30 miles this morning c ar was up to temp but rad was stone cold ,could the thermostat not opening be causing my overpressure problems ?
also my steering fluid reservoir and ace resevoir are both swirling about when the engines running is this normal ?

Have you had coolant loss recently ?
 
solved it all coolant leak was between water pump and power steering pump
drive shaft on p/s pump worn and water leking into p/s fluid causing overheat and pressure buildup
new p.s pump and water pump £395 ouch !!
