Afternoon,
I'm still working on renovating my front hub & brake set up.
Got the new vented disc on and replaced all the bearings while I was there, now working on refurbishing the calipers which I'll get round to this weekend.
But
Hub nut Question.
With the new Bearmach hub bearing kit I got , it included just the one hub nut and the big washer with the flat notch in it. But whenever I look at video's online they always have the two hub-nut set up.
I sort of remember reading something about a switch to one nut for the TD5 model but wanted to check.
And
Do I just fold over the edge of the washer over the nut to keep it from coming loose ?
thanks

into the nut after tightening.

Oh, not sophisticated then :)
And I've just read that nut should be done up to 210nm ! is that right you think ?

I did mine to 210nm and it welded the outer bearing shell to the stub axle in a 1 mile test drive!!!
I had no choice to replace it again but this time i did it up till it was tight then spun the hub a few times and then a little tweek till my arm said "its done up," no issues after that (4yrs gone by since), so IMO no 210nm is crazy tight.

the spacer in between the 2 bearings is selectable by size different bearings may well require another spacer,if tightening the nut fully put pressure on the bearings it was the wrong spacer for those bearings
