90 Dash dials, changing backlights?

Ok I have my old 90,

My question is. Is there any kit to change the colour of the backlights that come up when your headlights are on?

I've just taken out my fuel guage and the green plastic diffuser which thread is knackared seems to be part of the dial that is crimped together.

Anyone know if you can get replacement parts? or is it new guage time?

If its new guage time I really don't want to mess about with new senders so is there any direct replacement OEM ones? Its a 90 not a defender the temp sender is different I know. Jai
 
I have dismantled my fuel guage any how will look at maplins for some super brights and mke my own holder for them just need to get the bezels back on without distroying them or mabe look out for some chrome bezels (Tart)! Jai.

If you replace the standard bulb with an led bulb (so there's no heat) you could hold the bulb in place with a rubber grommet. Alternatively keep your eyes open on ebay for classic car bulbs. They are basically 501 wedge bulbs mounted in rubber grommet type boots.
