5 door disco onto a 3 door?

Hi have a chance of a 3 door disco cheap. Its not much use to me but wondered is the chassis the same as a 5 door so i can get the engine and running gear overhauled and build a good 5 door disco? Any help and advice would be great cheers

I'm pretty sure that the Disco chassis is the same for 3 & 5 door versions of the same engine.

All the body, engine and gearbox mounts are the same.
