Thanks for the info but am I missing something, why would you MOT a vehicle and not tax it?

can't help you there especially when the tax would have been nil for a vehicle that old assuming it was insured

guess they didn't bother to renew the mot as it became exempt on the 20th may

Could just be in use on private land still want it safe hence MOT.

mileage hasn't changed between the two mots but the cable could be disconnected

I owned this for a few years. I got it as a project, did a few bits and pieces over the years but the arrival of kids killed my free time and enthusiasm, so it sat for a few more years used primarily by my chickens as a house until it eventually went to someone else. I had an email from a guy in Meigle in 2014 asking if I had any history for it as he was restoring it. I emailed him but never heard anything back. Fast forward another decade and a google search led me here.

Do you have the email address for the guy in Meigle or his name.
