300TDi immobiliser

Bit of a strange one- My mum took her 90 into get some shopping earlier. When she came out, the 90 wouldn't start and the dash lights are on now- even without the key in.

Wont crank over and showed no signs at all of failing.

Any ideas???

It's probably the immoboliser fault, although I am not sure why all your lights are on without the key - the ignition barrel OK?

Which lights are staying on - full set like the ignition was on?

Someone with a stock 300tdi will be able to confirm this or not, but if its the same as the 300tdi Disco then it could be the spider, but this doesn't cause the lights to stay on.

It could be as simple as a little solder job...

The fact the lights are staying on confuses me the most, I know the TD5's do that.

The 300tdi was much more simple.

Confirm whats going with these lights first.
