300tdi GS P reg

Hi guys I have just got another Disco it was imported in 2005 dont know were from but it does not have an alarm or immobiliser on it, can anyone tell me why, also recommend an aftermarket alarm to fit.

Disco not equipped with a security, the market it was sold in the penaltys for vehicle theft are severe, or it's a small island where vehicles don't get stolen, or to keep the cost down LR made the security system an option on your vehicle as they did for the Japanese market.
Whatever it's not a big issue is it?

As for an after market system the firm I work for in the early days supplied and installed Cobra, we never had any issues with the kit.
