300tdi front fog lights

hi, my wifes R reg disco 1 has factory front fogs fitted however the bulb has gone in 1 of them, can you change them? i have had a look and cant see where to split lens from casing to gain acces to bulb.

Yes you can change the bulb but you will have to remove the lamp first so you can remove the cover over the rear of the lamp.

This is what the manual says.

Locate and release lamp harness multiplug from
clip behind headlamp.
2. Disconnect multiplug.
3. Attach a draw string to harness.
Remove 2 nuts securing lamp bracket to bumper
studs.
5. Remove 2 screws securing lamp bracket to
spoiler.
6. Release lamp assembly and pull lamp harness
through front panel.
7. Detach draw string from harness.
8. Remove lamp/bracket assembly.
9. Remove 2 spire nuts from lamp bracket.

It's an interesting one I haven't seen a thread on how to do it or shall I say how it's done so u could be the first, if get the time

Did mine as they were filling with water and shorting the lighting system out.Absolute bugger to do lying down so Id say put the front up on ramps to give yourself room,wear some eye protection as lots of crap falls in your face,use an inspection lamp as its not that straightforward.The angle adjust bolts are usually rusted solid.When you re assemble pay attention to seals and grommets addind more sealant if needed.
