ok so i have been encountering a number of problems and one of them i was advised to take the grill off check my rad condition with a temp gun. well took the grill off didn't need to test it with a temp gun as i can see by looking at it that its well passed its usefulness there are parts missing all over the place (no leaks though that i can see)

so here's my question.

where is the best place to get a new one! money is limited so i'll be looking for aftermarket rather than LR big bucks parts. also are there any makes i should avoid?

as always thanks for your replies in advance :)

Don't know about over there but here we can buy a nice all alloy fab'd radiator off the net a lot cheaper than getting your old rad recored, or buying a replacement copper one from a LR parts supplier, I haven't bought one personally but a mate with a D1 did and it is a good quality item, and was heaps cheap.
Probably made in China but he has had the new alloy rad about 18 months now and not a problem ever, it's what I'll be getting when my old rad fails.

We had a batch of cheap Chinese rads over here, leaked, didn't fit well, flow was crap due to no baffles internally ...
