Hi, I have recently bought a new boot floor for my disco, due the the original being bodged up with fibreglass. My question is, does anyone know the part number for the strip that sits behind the main big piece? Its got the lip on that spot welds to where the door seal for the rear door sits and it has (or should have) 4 lugs that the carpet strip screws to.

I asked for this bit when I went to get my boot floor but the piece he's given me is nothing like.

Cheers

It's this piece with the plastic bits in.

Surely this isn't a £100+ panel?

just done a disco boot floor its a **** job ;)

i no the part your on about do they sell it though? luckily mine was fine

dont bother fitting a second hand one !
i had four made up for some one on here who wanted a boot floor doing but never got back to me.

if you know of any sheet metal fabrication places near you simply measure the part you need and get them to make it for you, simply cut the old away and fit the new :)

Cheers guys, just had another look at it and its only gone in a couple of places, rest is solid. Being as I'm chequer plating the boot and won't need that crappy plastic strip, I think I'll just cut out the bad bits and plate it in.

Ive finished welding the new boot floor in today. I had to cut the bolts off that hold the seat belt anchors in order to get the old floor out. Is it possible to buy the seat belt anchors that bolt to the chassis with the rubber bushes? Also, can I take it for an MOT with no rear seats, as it is due this week and I wont have time to fit the anchor points before it goes.... And that's definatly a failure with seats and no seat belt anchors.
