Hi guys Carl here new to the forum here hope some of you knowledgable people can shed some light for be please a I have the traction control light and hill descent warning light constantly on since driving a rather large slope and now it won’t go off so annoying scanned it no codes storednothing etc thanks to you Guys

What scanner did you use?

Have you tried the old classic, disconnect the battery and leave for 20 minutes?

Cheers
I left the battery off over a month as I had it off the road doing bits and bobs to tart her up to stop the wife moaning about a few green lane marks lol I used a icarsoft scanner done a live reading all speed sensors are working fine slight difference in speeds nothing drastic though and thanks

According to th diagnostic protocol this means : Engine data - Sticking throttle, signal failure, data corruption but it should have had a fault code stored, would be good to double check with a more reliable tester cos that Icarsoft it's not OK for D2, then if the result is the same the ECU becomes suspect

Sierrafery your spot on and thank you for your reply I was scanning the abs system and had shuttle valve failure which I erased and hasn’t since came on I’ve just scanned the engine ecu and the faults are to do with ac clutch drive open and throttle sensor I’ve cleaned up the connections erased faults and they haven’t came back on and all drives and runs fine but those annoying two lights are still on thank you

Did you read and clear the faults from the SLABS too? the TP fault from the engine ECU might have triggered the 2 amigos and nanoccom might have mossed the codes stored in the SL:ABS, just happened to me today: see the last paragraph here https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/sls-no-lights-and-wont-go-down.334315/page-4#post-4332573

contribute to what? do you have the same symptom? .... if the bulbs are OK then the brake switch might be at fault so IMO better open a thread with your specific problem which has nothing to do with this thread and all you can create is a confusion, then if we see the facts maybe we can find a solution

All fixed now thank fully after reading research and taking your advice on board and having nothing to loose I done the shuttle valve bypass even though no faults were showing and everything’s perfect for now thank you
