i now no that the auto box clears the 200tdi bulk head which is cool, just wats concerning me is the wiring.as i dont no what wires to splice in my 200tdi,s loom

there was a thread a couple of weeks ago about putting the same into a trialer. have a search.
it had a description of the wires you need for the ecu.
its fairly simple with only a main feed and ignition feed to the ecu, this is all i have to rum mine and all things like starter, alternator and senders are seperate. you can keep your 200 loom and use it for starting, charging, temp and oil, stop solenoid feed to coil instead. just fit the efi engine loom seperately as it is only the injection system it covers not the whole engine, the rest is seperate.
As i remember if you unwrap the loom at the fuel relay end there is a big connector with thick brown wires in it and one coming out of it. this is your permanent feed. I think the ignition feed is white and purple. these are the only two you need for it to run the engine.
For the fuel pump just keep the tank and obviously flush it out. fit an inline pump and filter capable of about 30psi and you will be fine. you already have a return to the tank so that will also be fine.
probably easiest to use the fuel pump relay in the loom to power the pump as its there, just extend the wires. (actually i think thats the white and purple one!)
Simples!;)

what inline fuel pump would you recomend.ive heard the efi one fits but need to extend the bracket ?

yes i am actually mate its a lovely engine with a gen 8k and a 2k ashcroft new gearbox and transfer box make me a offer as its still in the defender

what have you lot used for the cooling rad as the 3.9 has engine cooler going to the rad and also has a auto box cooler, dose the rangy one fit?or do i keep the 200tdi one and buy a after market oil cooler for the autobox?

mine has the radiator with the integrated oil cooler. the spiral brush autobox cooler sits under the bumper attached to the protector bar.
