hi any body help.
when you fit new piston rings which side do the piston ring gaps go on.
i the rave cd it says on the thrust face oppsersit the thrust face what is the thrust face.

its the face that would be pushed againsed the cylinder wall on the power stroke

wouldnt bother,rover engines only do 10k miles after rebuild.there ****e.get a merc v8 and fit that or buy a diesel.
