3.5 SU carb config

Hi guys and gals.
I’m currently rebuilding the V8 for my series and was wondering if anybody could shed some light on where the red highlighted outlets go, are they a vacuum of sorts?

I lost have highlighted a blocked off pipe in blue, is that ok like that?

The pipes lying by your blue circle connect the carbs to the rocker covers there should be 4 pipes that have the flame trap in the middle of them...

Thanks. I have them pipes and the flame traps, but it still leaves one on each free, and I have no idea where they go

What carbs are they...go on to web and look for overhaul/service balance threads...or if the engine is from a P6 or SD1 try those forums...

Yes but you've got a red filter stuck on the rocker cover stub that connects to the carb using the pipes and flame trap I pointed out...why??...
