ok then, all opinions welcome with your own reason please.
looking to replace my four tyres for a 50/50 road, off road type.
what have you and why.
good mileage, grip, fuel economy all good points to make.
ready steady go!!!

I've just bought 4 General Grabber AT2s fitted for £101 each.

I've only done about 400 miles on them so far, but I have to say they've been brilliant.
Good price, excellent chunky tread pattern, and I can't hear any difference in road noise over the Nexen Roadians I had on before.

For winter I used nexan winguard suv's and they were brilliant. They're still on now but looking to get a spare set of rims for the summer tyres. Not top of the priority list though.
To be fair, they're fine as summer tyres too. No noticeable increase in noise or fuel economy or reduction in grip. I guess they won't last as long as a summer tyre but might leave them on for now and pick up some 16" rims for the next set of winters and fit the summers to the 18's

That's because the noise of the front diff whining drains out everything else.

Now is a good time to pick up winter typres left over from last year's stock.

My winters are like new, they've only got 2k on them. I want a set of summers but would rather the summers were on the 18" rims and get some 16's for the next set of winters. That is, if I don't decide to treat myself to an L322 s/c!

i fitted a set of coopers AT/3

really impressed with them so far, but don't know if there aggressive enough for ur needs @Mark Piercy

really quiet at motorway speeds

put a pic of the tire tread , cost £90 each fitted

quite fancied the yoko geolander G012's, but at a cost of 165€ a pop plus fitting at 25€ a bloody wheel!!!!
even the bfgoodridge are 140€!!
I want deep tread for longetime goodtime! and nothing that'll rattle the rest of the headlining free!!
the fuel economy is by the by. I see plenty of 4X4's here but no bugger has a real opinion, one guy said he's no idea it was his garage that fits them and that's all he knows.. hence the questions guys.
