New to here merry Christmas guys. I am picking up my 2012 hard top in January. I would like to upgrade the lights front amd rear any advice please on. What to get amd also what to stay away from thanks in advance

Yes, re the lights, put two candles in there :)

Welcome to the forum.

In all honest the best upgrade you can do for your lights will be to fit relays in the headlight system and the rest is golden, leave as factory and avoid the bling, if you have not already bought them then you should be thinking about security devices long before any modifications and I stress the need for proper security.!!!

If you don't believe me when I stress the need for proper security before you start buying bolt on tat then the fact that LZ has a whole forum dedicated to stolen Land Rovers should worry the sh1t out of you to the point where buying security devices ahead of useless tat and bolt on junk seems like solid advice.

@ op There's a reason there's a whole forum dedicated to stolen vehicles and none for add on tat. Security, security, security.

Many thanks for your help. Security I know will be an issue. So maybe that's my next question, but I what do I need I can have a tracker fitted or is that no good. I don't mind what I buy so long as its good Ps I have also some nice attack dogs in my yard to help with security

Trackers are great and also advertise the fact that your vehicle is fitted with a paid for subscription tracker too as they tend to leave those alone unless they don't google the tracker company first, DiskLok, a gearshift lock from X-eng is good as is the steering lock and of course pedal locks or clutch claw alongside a decent alarm and immobiliser, security hinges help stop them pinching your doors and bonnet while parked on the drive too ;)

As far as headlights go, fit the relays as I suggested, 4X = both sides high beams and dipped beams in combination with Wipac crystal lenses and plastic bowls.
