Fitting a 200tdi in me landy it had no lift pump on it and was given a new one by a mate but no instructions on which pipes go on it and to where ,this is a first time attempt for me to change a engine so sorry if sound think lol

Pump the lever and see which pipe is sucking and which blowing.
The suck one goes to tank and the blow to the filter

Yep agree with that! various ones about so make sure you get the pump with the fittings in the correct orientation, look where the pipes are and should be obvious :)

One at the back is normally to the fuel filter
Some have arrows cast into them for flow
Get used to changing them as they are ****!

Pipes ud right? tank pipe to lift pump, lift pump to filter head, filter head to injector pump.

Check small plastic 6mm pipe to top of injector pump connected to turbo pipe work.
Could also be a dodgy lift pump, but when mine used to go weak it only really effected top end was okay rest of the time

Had small split in a pipe so changed that and bled filter again ,she now operates at full revs but on a test drive the turbo aint kicking in ,checked all pipes on that and checked them against another landrover (brothers) and all pipes on correct ,waste gate working ,stumped again :(

Checked everything now ,new lift pump on there so I'm thinking now it's time to look at the injector pump ? Any tips on order of what to check ?

When you say waste gate working have you checked it is closing fully.
If you take the little C clip off rod should sit passed the closed waste gate.
Do a web search on setting it up might be covered by trailer fitter videos.

Yeah done that ,truck starts and runs perfect just no turbo kicking in ,checked everything else bar injector pump I'm guessing engine as been stood a bit

you need to check you have a good feed to the pump and no air ,and rear banjo on pump has small hole front has large

Has your brothers been tweaked and yours not and when compared its seems like theres an issue but theres not?
1/8 to 1/4 of a turn in on the max fuel screw can make a real difference.

No brothers is the same alls good no smoke really just turbo don't seem to kick in I've run out of ideas and thinking next step take it to a garage :(
