200tdi engine conversion

hi all in the process of converting my 110 v8 to run on a 200tdi disco engine and gearbox and hit a few hurdles one headache is the gear box that the gear selectors are the wrong way round and the gear selector is to far back and cos i like the 3 seats in the front it can't go there. i have read somewhere that these can be changed around is this poss? if so dose anyone know who can do this or which gear box marrys up to the 200tdi with the selector around the right way. all the best to you all bodie

you will be best putting the disco transfer box on tho as its 1.222 ratio.the deependers like that on the road.

yes mate i have the transfer box off the disco and i have the original off the v8 box but would prefer to use the disco one as it has just been recond before it was due to go in for mot and failed badly would it fit on the defender box

gearbox is an LT77 but the bellhousing and mainshaft is much longer than the deepender box

I did read the whole thread thick Cnut. Transfer box is an LT230 gearbox is an LT77

yes pikey.i asked him is disco box lt77 if so the transfer box 1.222 he has will fit the supplied defender box from me..

NO but as he's fitting the engine and gearbox from a 200tdi disco and as they only fitted the lt77 to the 200tdi It's almost a dead cert that the gearbox will be a LT box ya fick pasty munching, tree murdering, lycra wearing pedal pushing twaatt

Im makeing sure on parts required as being a pro scrapper for years now im through ****in about.I allways send the right part because of this.

ya must be feckin stoned then ya fookin boss eye caravanner.
