I have been planning on having the transmission fluid changed in my td4 since it’s now at around 65k miles and I believe the recommended interval is 60k miles.
I was a bit nervous about tackling the job myself and enquiries at local garages revealed a lack of appreciation of how exactly to carry out the work.
A shoutout therefore for Midland Automatic Transmissions of Kettering who carried out a gearbox service without hassle.
It cost me £125 plus vat but was money well spent In my opinion and the gearbox seems smoother though I’m probably imagining it.
