Hi,
Looking for information on the wiring for the steering wheel controls on a 2005 Freelander.
I've whipped out the Harmon Kardon Navigation Head Unit and replaced it with a Pioneer DEH-P8100BT which has a slave empeg unit. I've still got the stalk control adapter from my 2000 Freelander which I was hoping to adapt to work with my current system. The empeg takes a sony type adapter feed.
The connector has blue, green, yellow blocks with the following wires into it:
Blue Block - pink / black, black, yellow / black
Green Block - pink
Yellow Block - nothing
I was hoping to leave the power feed (yellow) for the adaptor in the original block and connect the input (white) to one of the above. Any ideas?
Also, for some reason having trouble getting a decent consistent radio signal since changing the head unit.
While I'm on the subject, any idea how easy to connect the Pioneer so that I can use the standard CD Changer under the seat?
Thanks,
