2003 Freelander Near Side Brake Light

Hi All, hope your all Safe and well. I have a problem with my Near side Brake light because it wasn"t working and the bulb had obviously blown but when I went to replace the New Bulb it wouldn"t work then I found that the spring like pin that the bottom of the Bulb makes contact with has broken off.So I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so What the heck can I do about it? Do you reckon Araldite would stick it back in or would that affect the contact metal to metal. Other than that I suppose it would mean Soldering it back. Any Help and advice would be welcome. The cheapest replacement I"ve seen is 40 odd quid

Replace the rear bumper harness, or find a replacement lamp holder to solder in.

Small loom on lamp plugs in to bumper loom. Sommat like the above will sort you out. Check as early orange indicator and later white indicator lens have different bulb holders. Think the brake light is the same.

Thanks Andyfreelandy, Found a company on ebay who will supply the Rear Bumper Light connectors holders wiring loom for £25 so placed my order should be with me by Thursday latest.
