Anyone know if the 2.5 n/a diesel uses the same water temp gauge as the 200tdi?

Think it's the same gauge but the temp sender is different so you won't get accurate readings from it.

you need to get a 200 tdi gauge to match the sender . I had the same prob when I swapped from n/a to 200 tdi

when we did mine it dint need changin over
but you,ve a few options depending on which sender you,ve got fitted on yer td and wots in yer tdi
1,it mite be the same thread
2,gerra 200tdiu guage
3,steve parkers do different senders to suit
4,or use an adapter,i,ve posted the part numbers before so ava look,cus be fooked if i can remember them:doh:

Changed my gauge cause it wuz easyier to match the sender on the engine , am poz that the n/a gauge doesn't work with the 200 tdi sender,sure there is quite a few old threads on this as oil dripper says.

I brought a new gauge from my local car shop has a capilary tube and its own sender, no electrics involved at all apart from the bulb in the back, took half hour to fit and nothing to go wrong....... I hope
