just brought p38 2.5 range rover auto gettin 15 mpg round town and its hunting surging aswell on low revs replaced air filter diesel filter been told diesel pump knackered does this sound right wot would symtoms ov pump in tank not working right be ??

Get the fault codes read, could be a lot of things.

You can't read codes. Unless you buy a Faultmate. Take it to a garage and get them read.
