I didn't think bumpers were an mot thing? I guess if it has sharp edges though...

I have a disco winch bumper out the back that I've been meaning to flog, but I'll be further than will be worth you travelling. (J27/M5)

Edit -

Pretty sure this is the one I have but I don't remember it having the two circles in the front -

Price above is insane though. Im not under delusions that that represents a realistic used price in the slightest!

Holy thread resurrection Batman!!
but for what it is worth:

6.1.4. Bumpers

DefectCategory
(a) Bumper:

(i) insecure or with damage likely to cause injury when grazed or contacted
(ii) likely to become detached

Major

Dangerous

So I guess it has to a) be there
b) be properly attached
and c) not have any jagged edges etc.
:D

Bumpers themselves aren't usually an MOT concern, but sharp edges could be an issue. If your Disco winch bumper has no sharp edges, it's likely fine. If you're selling, check local listings for a reasonable used price; that Rimmer Bros tag seems crazy. Traveling far might not be worth it, but someone closer might snatch it up.
