Hi All,
I'm Thinking Of Buying A 94 Disco, 81,000mls In Quite Good Nick, 3 Owners, Guy Wants £3,000 , Is This A Fair Price, Cheers . Jimbo.

Hey Jimbo,

Really depends on what kind of Disco? V8 or TDi? Base model or fully loaded? Full service history? After-market extras? Price sounds okay but you need to post some more info for any meaningful guestimates...

sounds great but just makesure that you give it a good check and a fair test drive befor commiting try and mentally figure out if the money needed to repaire /replace any faults is not going to exceed your budget to much regards if in any doubt always get a second view from someone you know and trust check when cam belt changed this is most important check condition of oil in engine have a look at the inside of the oil filler cap on top engine see if there are any white deposits if there are you could be looking at a new head gasket check air filter when last changed and the inside of air-box and also check gears are all smooth and has vehicle been looked after generally dont forgett tyres brakes ect.. get under and check chassis at joins ect and check suspension also dont forget to check diff lock and high and low range both engage and des-engage properly check leaks out see where comming from most landies leak from time to time this is usally a sign of a gasket /seal on way out hope this helps regards colin

Hi Colin, Thanks For The Advice, I Wont Part With Money Until I'm Sure The Car Is Worth It[ I'm A Scot] I Did Think It Was Too Good To Be True, But It Seems Genuine Enough But I 'll Be Taking The Overalls With Me For Another Butchers. Cheers Colin.
