Hi
Really enjoying my first Land Rover but in trying to sort out the central locking I've found that the central locking/alarm ecu AMR2106 has been completely bypassed by a previous owner.
I'm not that concerned about the alarm side but I would like to get the central locking working just by using the key in the drivers door. Is there anyway of wiring up the central locking without using the ecu?
Any advice gratefully accepted.
Thanks
Richard

You will need an interface to give a momentary applied +12v then reversed to operate the servo ie. lock/unlock, as the other doors (slaves) are already wired they will follow the master.
I have seen a kit on ebay the come with a fob and wiring diagrammes although you may have to replace your existing master actuator. This is what I did on my RRC but that was 20 years ago :)
