Hi All,
Been Offered A One Owner Disco That Neeeds Some Work For Mot, Seemingly There Are Some Box-like Bits To Weld On To The Chassis Where Body Mounts Are ,didn't Pass Due To Corrosion, Does Anybody Know How To Do This And Can Give Advice,ie, How Difficult Is It, I Can Weld, Cost Of Parts Would Be Of Help Too. SEEMS TOO GOOD TO SCRAP,WONDER IF IT'S WORTH HAVING, LOOKS NICE TOO. CHEERS JIMBO

Deffenatly wouldn't be scrapping it, the welding shouldn't be too hard as most parts on the chassis are easily accesable with a ramp. If not a decent welding shop should be able to for decent price. Looked after these vehicles will run for ever so its always worth spending a bit on them as long as you get it for the right price.
I wouldn't have thought chassis parts should be to expensive if you can buy them? but if the corrosin isn't to bad a patch might do then some paint and underseal hope this has been of some help (had a couple to drink so if it looks like im babbling a bit thats why haha)
