1986 Range Rover Missfire

I posted a few weeks ago about the missfire on the RR and after good advice I checked the compression which was found to be down on 3/4 pots.

My question is ,are the heads suitable for unleaded as it seems strange to have this problem on a RR.

if they are lead only can they be converted?

yes they are fine for unleaded.

only a few of the pre range rover v8's were not suitable for unleaded. yours will be fine.

I would squirt some oil down the low compression bores and see if the compression rises, if it does its your rings that are at fualt if not then its your valves.

sounds like head gasket/ vaves on numbers 3 and 4
