Does anyone know when I can get the correct specifications for my vehicle. Especially interessted in max payload weight.

The hinternet pops up vavious numbers from 650 to 1000kg.

LR manual states 2550kg on HD springs. A standard 90 kurbweight is 1750kg giving you a payload in the region of 800kg.

Should give you something to work on. Sounds alot, but you soon eat into it when you consider carrying 40L water, 3 jerry cans fuel. thats 100kg there. Add on additional underbody protection etc etc.

My 90 is estimated around 2000kg kurbweight and 2400kg fully loaded with only 40L water and 40L fuel. I am only carrying 1 spare though :D

Thanks, I'm gonna have to go on diet :D

kurbweight allows for full tank of fuel and a 75kg driver. so how much do you weigh? :D got a passenger? howe much do they weigh? all adds up!

I weigh as much as a 75kg bloke and a supermodel :) But I have HD springs, so I can have a spare and a winch :D

might be worth going to a weighbridge to see what your 90 weighs. As an Ex-Mil rover you may have a HD chassis and some other bits, so maybe yours weights more than 1750kg as standard. Just a thought.
