Dear Sirs
The chassis on my Land Rover 110 is in top notch condition apart from two little spots where it has been patched. The first patcht is located close to the middle of the right chassis leg. I would like to ask if there is a way of removing the old patch and welding new sheet of metal to the chassis without patching it furthermore.
Best Regards

Yes, anything is possible if you can find someone good at welding. A lot of people can weld. Being good is different - have a look at a few on YouTube, it won't take you long to learn the difference.

A proper repair will cut out the whole area, usually a rectangle, and put a new piece into the hole, which is then fully welded. If you don't want to see it then the seams can be ground off until it's flat. With a good weld it will be just as strong - but a bad welder will often grind his seams off so that you don't see how uneven they are!
