Not sure where to post this.
Ive got a disco td5 at the moment but want to do alps etc. Ive always wanted a 110 300tdi but will have to use it every day for work. My question is can it be made to be comfortable for tarmac then when i want to do alps etc be converted by simple shock and spring changes. And no I cant buy a van for work and a 110 for fun. Also what mpg can i expect from one. My td5 is too good to bugger up off-roading.

It'll be a bit noisier than a disco and not as comfy. But where this idea that 90/110 landies aren't suitable for everyday use comes from baffles me.

Change the seats and yer laughin';) Ah've got Rangie ones in mine and can't fault thum. Use mine every day and also for holidays. Like said above, it'll be a bit noisier than yer Disco but ye could always turn the stereo up;) :D

got the idea defenders were uncomfortable cause i used to drive one on a farm. Damn thing used to shake and crash all over the place. I'll admit it was a bit old c reg i think. As you can guess don't know much about defenders.

Seating postion is strange but once your used to it its no different to driving anything else......oh and you dunt need to change the seats they are comfortable enough. Only wussy scottish blokes put lounge furniture in the front of their 110's
