110” V8 clutch problems.

We are a danish family traveling around the UK.
At the moment we at camping near Ashford.
The plan was to go to Bath tomorrow morning, but my clutch is not working well anymore.
When the truck gets up to normal temperature the clutch is almost at the floor and if I keep going I can’t use it then anymore.
Everything was ok when we drove from Denmark Sunday morning.
Slave cylinder is new.
I am now thinking I might be the master clutch cylinder?
I don’t think it’s air in the system and it is not leaking clutch fluid.
Any suggestions, advice or people in the area that might help ?
I have some tools in the truck, but not a new master cylinder and only 1/2liter of clutch fluid.

When the engine is cold, is there any kind of noise when the gearbox is in neutral?
When cold, does the pedal work normally?

Clutch and bearing is new. LT85 is new rebuild. Clutch works when the truck is cold but I don’t think the pedal feels right.. kind of spongy is my best description.

Have you checked the oil levels in the gear and transfer boxes since refitting them?

I have checked the oil level after 1000km back in DK. But don’t think low oil level in gearboxes is the problem. I’m sure it’s a clutch problem

No no-one... I have changed most of the clutch fluid and I will try make the 280km trip to Arkonik in Somerset tomorrow morning.
They have a new master cylinder for me and I will hopefully get it changed sometime tomorrow evening..

Post if the situation changes. We have other peeps on route that might be better equipped to help.

Plse keep us informed. Unfortunately some peeps decline to help someone who’s first post is “help!” And who we may never hear from again....

Just a word of warning - be cautious about heading to Bath with a dodgy clutch - it's very much a city of hill starts!!

I will post that happens..
the situation with people declining to help I can’t understand everything of... not the LR spirit we use in Denmark if a fellow LR driver is in problems. But yes not all people are alike..
But thanks for trying and I will post tomorrow..

Thanks I am not going in any big city’s before this is fixed.
