109 series 2 1971 petrol/deisel manifold

im thinking of rerouting my eggsourced sytem under the body through the chassis. does anyone know if a 2.25 petrol manifold and eggsourced will fit my 2.25 n/a deisel? as that way i could then run it down inside the bay instead intead of round the arch. :5bbiggrinjester:

i have a diesel one on ebay now. that'll fit as its goes down like the petrol one.

that sounds great but just been floating about on ebay and didn't see it under manifolds.:doh: whats is it under? would still like to know if the petrol one fits for future reference though.

No petrol & diesel cannot be interchanged, but the later diesel ones are similar, presumably that is what Tig is offering.

cheers. would you know wheather the bore of the eggsourced is the same on deisel and petrol?

not a clue! not a lot of differences in general engine design so maybe the same.

The parts book lists different front pipes.

well in that case it might help when i get round to rerouting, got to put the new rear cross member on the beast first. a job i wish i haden't encounterd it was all good till the tub came off and revealed a sive of a chassis.doh!!!!!!
