Does anybody here know if the 101 Landys use Series running gear, diffs, gear boxs etc etc or are they all unique parts to the 101s?


I'm interested in one but am wanting to find out what would happen when I bust it. Will getting parts be difficult and expensive?

its all prettymuch special kit, front and rear axles are salisbury items that are like rocking horse poo, gearboxes are LT95 i think (i might be wrong) its shares very few components with the rest of the landrover range

I think the swivel balls are welded to the axle, so it's change the axle if the balls are pitted instead of unbolt like normal axles.

My balls are getting a bit pitted but I int cutting the fookers off to weld new ones on??

Hmmm thats not good, one of the awesome things about my Series Land Rover is everything is so cheap to replace...
