Hi all,
Apologies if this is a stupid newbie question but.....
Just trying to help a friend out with his 1.8s Freelander 2000/W and was wondering if anyone could shed some light
His rad cap blew and he pulled over/called the RAC out. Since then, he has had the cap changed and a new thermostat fitted.
However, he is still overheating and having to pull over regularly. His top hose is getting hot and pressurising but the bottom one is cold and limp.
I know the K series are notorious for head gaskets but is there anything else which commonly goes wrong or has anyone elso come across a quick fix???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
