1/10th or 1/8th scale Defender 90/110?

Hi guys n girls, this is my first post to the board so i hope it is in the right place Im currently studying graphic products at college and am designing an all terrain mobile library using the defender 110. I was wondering if it was possible to get hold of airfix-type kits on a 1/10th or 1/8th scale? Its not the end of the world if i cant but it means more work. Also, if any of you have converted the interior of your defender in anyway, storage in the back, bed in the back etc. photos would be greatly appreciated.

hi rowan, i can tell you that there are lots, and lots of scale models of defenders. try looking at places like www.ebay.co.uk and online LR shops. there are lots of different types of models, just do a google search etc... hope this helps. R

V8, thanks for the reply. I havent had any luck finding none-diecast models. It needs to be of airfix type and of a large enough scale that i can customise it almost as though it was a real landrover. any specific auctions or sites would be appreciated as ive looked pretty hard and had no luck.

How abt the 1/2 scale models, they certaintly are larger and easier to make 'modifications'.
