05/06 fl1 td4 hse radio upgrade

Hi folks,
finally got ny hands on a fl1 td4 hse 5dr after 17yrs { too long without } usual problem with the tail gate and handle, separated but still together with the wires, apart from that and a tiny rust spot at the wiper collar area. any how, just wandering if anyone has upgraded the radio system in a fl1 facelift model as the on e fitted is a bit dated and I was thinking about going down the route of a touch screen double size unit with apple/android play, blue tooth function, incorporated reverse camera function plus the usual usb connections etc or what other units have you all fitted. thanks in advance

I want to do something similar but £65 sounds very cheap. If you do go for it I'd be interested to know what the quality of the unit is like, how use-able it is and if you get the steering controls to work with it okay

will do, itll prob be inn the next 2/3 weeks, i'll keep a log, seen a couple of branded one in around the 100/120 marl which maybe better, just that I have apple play in the car when it works { merc a180 amg } have got well used to the phone use on it, txt email etc, reverse camera screen, sd card music and sat nav so really all was there except touch screen, was thinking at 60 quid be worth gamble { lost more on other better products over the time } may need a patch cable convertor to allow use of steering controls. will post as I go along with pics for others to learn from my mistakes.
