Its a polished turd..anyone who neglects the inside and makes the outside shine like glass is trying too hard to get rid of it. If he thinks he could get 3500 with an mot he'd damn well mot it...theres something not right with that.

fook me where did all the prices come from last time i had siii's
i got my first 109 for £400...88 for £250...88 for £750 and that was full mot n tax...
fook in el i should a kept hold of em sean...:frusty:

if they were low miles, unmolested and legal then yes perhaps

very interesting reading. without starting a huge thread if the forecourt gap between diesel price and petrol carries on like this then older petrol vehicles may start to become more attractive.

with even the cheapest garages charging 35 quid plus/h and the increasing need to plug vehicles into a brain before ANYTHING is done am surprised everyone hasn't woken up and bought themselves a series

Fookin ell people are askin crazy money these days. That would have been 500 quid not very long ago. Still wants double what it's worth with no test though. I paid 700 quid for my 109 with a year's MOT and in useable condition about 9 months ago.

ye I also have a rav4 which developed a warning light the other day ( during a -10 start ) and the dealer wanted 35quid just to plug in his laptop. ligh went out by midday, has not reappeared, and probably wont again during normal temperatures. guy near us sells rapeseed at 70p a litre, going to trial it in our 300tdi in spring. i know there alot off people running it with no problems, but when its your own flesh and blood, ( metal and oil! ) well you know, we'll up the mix as we go, we have a good mechanic on standby!!
