Just joined - have a 2006 Defender 90 and in the process of finding a roof tent and making the back my dining room. Anyone used engineered wood to floor them out and then boarded the inside? Its a van back not a station wagon. Whats a good way to heat them when the engine isn't running - I don't really want to buy an Erberspatcher - anyone make a small catalytic gas heater (so I don't gas myself)?

Will be looking for hope DIY upgrades so lets see what you have.

Welcome to LZ, Jonny. :)

I would be a bit wary of wood flooring in landrovers, because it might amplify noise.
And I would try posting about all that in the General Land Rover section.
