Disco 2 Door handles respray

Well after my ****ty job of spraying my rear light guards I'm going to ask for advice on how I respray my door handles and wheel arches.

Anyone done this and what did they do?

satin black aerosol, worked well on my d1s black plastic parts and window frames etc, gradually faded off after a few years

How many coats of primer, lacquer and spray did you use? I ended up with paint blobs on mine as i lack any flair for art!

A mate of mine colour coded his wheel arches. It looked great. Don't how practical this would be on the handles though. I think they would get quite tatty looking after a while with use.

non ,just a wipe down with panel wipe and sprayed on satin black, first car i thought it would flake off but it didnt,
