I'm after some new tyres for the 90 on my old one I had. Bf mt 235 85 16
Now it a weekend toy for odd camping trip when we go camping there's always greenlanes involved and I go to quite a lot of pay and plays.

My last Landy only did 3k in 12 months so road use isn't massively important.

I was looking for a second hand set to try and keep costs down but there's so many different sizes I don't know what will scrub the arches.

Thanks Steve

Hi Steve. I put Cooper Discoverer STTs on my 90 recently. They're on 8" steel 16s and are 265/75/16. Despite lots of doom-laden warnings on here they're absolutely fine. Had to move the stops etc but that takes just a few mins. Truck's not raised and they don't catch on anything anywhere. If I was doing seriously rough off-reading it would be an issue, but they cope with green lanes and fields fine as they are. Paid £820 for five tires and five new black wheels fitted, balanced and delivered. Good luck.

Not another tyre size thread !! :emps1: :lalala:

Yes another one, I think some one should make a sticky thread with a definite it will fit or no it won't.

Thanks fatboy11 yeah I did like them never got stuck with them and drove some silly places. Maybe I wasn't trying hard enough,

I'm trying to get the most clearance under the axles and chasssie without lifting it.

Rather than read the (self explanatory) thread title, open it to confirm it is what it says it is and then write a reply about how frustrated you are...why not just not open it? There. Fixed for you.

Bit of advice, probably not the best idea making posts like this ;)

There are some very helpful members on here who will go out of their way to help, but understandably get a little frustrated with new members not taking a bit of time searching for the answer 1st.

Ah at last...words of wisdom from someone with a vast total of 23 posts.

How would the forum survive without a member like you.

Indeed, much the same over on UKGSer, but really life's too short to get grumpy about Internet forum posts. Or at least it should be.
