P38 Grille Upgrade

Hi Guys,

now i have never been a fan of sticking tacky grilles on in an attempt to make my p38 to look more like an l322 but today i just found this car on ebay and i habe to be honest i think the grille looks really good. The only issue is i cannot find this grille for sale anywhere. It fits really well and looks in proportion etc nlike the others. What do you guys think and does anyone know where i can get one? There are similar ones on ebay but they this one has subtle differences that make it fit and look better than other.

I've just put one of them on mine ..... was £122 from Flea-bay.. Looks even better on a black P38!!

Think I prefer the one in chrispiec's piccies with fewer bars....

Claw how strong does yours seem to be? Does it look like it will suffer the usual cracking along the top edge where it bolts down?

I wouldn't say so, it looks about 6 or 8 mm thick & the Bolt holes are "further into" the plastic (From the edge) .....

Comes across as a well made "After Market" product

yeah hooded claws looks nice but i think the one in my pics looks really nice. Jus wich i knew where to find one. Been on ebay all day and cant see it.

This one is "Style one" .. but he does others as well .... (click on his Flea Bay shop to look !! Think the one your after is STYLE 3!!!

yeh ive seen this one and all his others but he doesnt do any exactly like the one in my pictures. if you look at them side by side they are different.

Hi, I was shopping on-line at "foundry 4x4" earlier today and sure that I saw one, try see if you can pick them up on google, if not - give me a shout and I'll see if I can find the number for you, they are based in wales and are a great source of bitz / partz - cheerz.
I agree, that grill mod looks great !!!

i was on looking at their page but couldnt see it anywhere! The guy selling the car said he got it a while back on ebay but i cant find it. All the others dont fit properly and look out of proportion but this one fit perfectly.

thanks hw2002 but thats not quite the same. The grille im talking about must be on sale somewhere! Please can someone help before i go insane! It was on sale on ebay a while back the owber of the car told me but not anymore for some reason! It's by far one of the nicest looking grilles i've seen on a p38.
