It has been pointed out that there are certain rules that need highlighting to members. The main one being the posting of Private Messages. P.M's are Private Messages and should stay that way. Anyone posting private messages on the forum without permission of the sender will be banned. I've just uploaded the photos from today's funday at Briercliffe near Burnley.. It was another good day out and lots of fun was had by all by the looks of it! Recently there have been a few requests for a [How To] Forum. You will notice that all vehicle categories in the Land Rover Talk area now have a sub forum for this. The idea is to keep the useful info in the correct category making it easy to find, and to keep them free from clutter. Anyone can create a thread in the sub forums, but they will not apear until they are approved. Each thread will be discussed in the Secure Unit (god help us) then once approved will appear it the correct sub forum, with an obvious title. There are already many useful threads around the site, if you think any are good enough, point them out to a mod and we will copy them for approval.

hi guy's im looking for a land rover range rover job, or in agricultural setting, this may include animal management, tractors, livery yard work, or land rover works in a yard or some kind of work in that area's. i am well known in the SERIES section of the forum and though a pain in the whats'it on there im actually ok and well clued up, if you know of anything in hampshire please PM me on my name in the forum and that would be great. i have been brought up in farm sales and work as well as land rover range rover works and bit like that. very trust worthy and very keen and enthusiastic and i may not know it all, but what you lack in possibe experiance you soon make up in enthusiasm, thanks all courtney ava V8TE aka series 3...

we at admin control center are currently tidying up LZ, with a view to upgrading stuff. so can yer not stick 'for sale' ads in the general forum sections. there is a 'for sale ' section so can y'all use it?

After several requests we now have a classified advert section for members to use to sell or buy land rovers or land rover products. Posting for sale or wanted ads is totally free for private users. Commercial users are asked to link back to us from there own website before they use our classified section. (better than having to pay though!:)) The only thing in this section now is a test DiscoIII advert just as an example. Only adverts with pictures are displayed on the featured adverts display, you are advised to always use a photo, but this is not compulsory. Please feel free to use this system! At the moment all registered users are free to post adverts, this may change if things do not work out.

I have added a new section to the site for product reviews. This is for us all to share our experience with various land rover/4x4 accessories. This section will take quite a while to build up, but everyone can help! Anyone can 'upload' a new product, and anyone can review that product once it has been uploaded. You do not need to own the product to upload it but if you review the product then please do so only if you have actual experience. We want all products to have at least one matching photograph, so please remember that before uploading. Please let me know if you think the categories could be arranged better or added to, it's been quite a bit of work to get it all going so my head is a bit fuzzy now! :) Just click...

I have integrated the alt.fan.landrover usenet newsgroup into LandyZone. This gives us access to even more land rover information and more people to interact with. If you make a post in that section then it will be sent out into the newsgroup. Please read the announcement in the alt.fan.landrover forum for more information. You have to have over 10 posts to be able to post a message into that section, this is due to posts being sent all over the world and not just remaining on our server :) we don't want annoying people to abuse the newsgroup and tarnish the landyzone name, do we! :)

On the 18th-19th of august there is going to be an 4x4 mainly landrovers weekend in Devon.
