my problem is landrover td4 o3 manual. the car starts fine no problem but as you drive and change into 2nd gear the engine light comes on with loss of power and sometimes stalls at around 2000rpm, then you turn the key and she starts up again and then does the same in 2nd gear. also when running...

that's it... it is the belt tensioner held on by bolts. thanks. yea fuel is getting all the way to the fuel pump free from air bubbles as well just not from the pump to the injectors.:(

I am probably been thick here but I cant see no inspection plate its not under the belt tensioner is it? or am I looking in the wrong place I would up load a pic if I knew how :D

yes it clicks on and off with the wire to it. its got me baffled so thought id ask on here before replacing more parts and getting nowhere fast.

tested before I put it in and the plunger did contract and release with the 12v wire to it.

Thanks have not tried that when I take the valves off im guessing there are springs in there? or washers? when you say the inspection plate is that on the pump? cant say ive seen it but haven't looked will defo be looking in there. thanks again.

sorry tried that (lost the plunger spring in the grass :D hence the new solenoid. fuel would still not get up the injection pipes.

Hi, looking for someone with good understanding of the fuel injection system as I don't know much about them. right the problem is fuels not going up to the injectors its not even coming from the injector ports on the pump (where the injection pipes connect) I know these are non return valves...

yup not yet have I had a straight answer to any question on here haha although only asked two things including this one.... haynes manual will be the reply but ive seen 3 on ebay all different books / covers for the same truck all £20 each and il buy the wrong one that's my luck :)

ha-ha common thing then, lifted the carpet boot floor is already welded and is solid. my guess is both sunroofs are leaking, also most of the windows have condensation every morning not as yet switched my insurance over so a bit of time to try and rectify the problems. what landy do you own?
