As already said there is info out there, infact there are step by step instructions on the net somewhere with photos. Its not too difficult, the front panel needs to be cut out due to the size of the rear of the facelift units. You will need to also buy hockey sticks which sit below the lights...
Isnt there already recovery points in place on a disco 1? If so it could be an idea to attach a shackle and recovery strop to it so if you do get very stuck you already have something attached ? Im about to replace my rear diff ready for sunday...I just hope it stays dry today!
It'll prob be the same as everywhere....very moist lol. In my opinion its ok but can get a bit boring after a few times of going, i havent been in a while so may pop down myself. Your disco should be fine really, may be remove the tow bar though ?!?
Ive had td5 disco's before and ive never noticed it as bad as this one ive got now, I dont have to be going very quick at all for it to happen. Maybe im just noticing it more now as it never stops raining !
Does anybody know why when I drive through puddles in my disco 2 the puddle ends up covering my windscreen, when the puddles are quite deep it throws up a hell of a lot of water. Its caught me out a few times now. Its running on standard 18" alloys with road tyres. Its really bugging the hell...
